I can barely believe it’s already been 2 years since I first met James. 2 years since I first heard him cry, held him in my arms and kissed his cheeks. 2 years since I first changed his diaper and fed him. James made us a family. He will always be my sweet baby James no matter how old he gets.
My parents and Brian flew here to Colorado to celebrate James special day. For his actually birthday we had a late breakfast at “The Original Pancake House”. They have omelets the size of your plate and it comes with 3 pancakes. SO YUMMY!
The rest of the day consisted of swimming, dinner and ice cream with my cousins family. We let James open one present when we got home. It was a “ishing” pole. A real one not a toy. He loves it!He cried when we put it away for bedtime and then woke up the next morning asking for it. That’s how you know you got a good present.
The next day was the actual celebration. We had a little BBQ with my cousins family. Here are some pics from the days events…
First time sleeping in his toddler bed…
Getting ready to blow out the candles…
Opening up presents…
Riding his new bike…
and then finishing up some yummy cake!
We had an awesome day. This was the first time James was actually excited to open presents. He kept saying “PRESENTS!” He’s been getting a lot of use out of his new toys too.

Oh, Happy Birthday little buddy. You are so stinkin cute. I love the new family pictures etc. Amy. Man time really does fly. I hope all is well over there in Colorado. We miss you.
I can't believe he's 2...until you look at him. He is such a boy now, no more baby face. Happy Birthday Jamers!
