“Garden of the Gods”

I just have to tell ya it is so nice having Saturdays back.  Last summer Rob worked on Saturdays but luckily had Mondays off.  And then of course during the school year he usually spent most Saturdays studying.   But now we have Saturdays again.  We usually spend them exploring the beautiful state of Colorado.  We’ve gone camping, fishing, and hiking.  This weekend we went to a place called “Garden of the Gods'”. I thought the name fit perfectly.  It really looked like a place where Greek God’s would hang out.  The property was donated by a family in the early 1900’s and was forever made free to the public.  How cool is that?   It isn’t often that you can find a fun “free” family activity. 

Isn’t it pretty!  I bet you are all jealous you don’t live in Colorado too.  I guess you’ll just have to come and visit sometime : )
