Our trip to Denver...

 

We flew to Denver and spent a few days looking at apartments, hanging out and visiting with family.  Monday was our big apartment search day.  That's when we actually had someone the company had hired to take us around and look at apartments.  She knew all the good places.  Places we would have never found on our own.  We were getting a little discouraged when we had looked all day and didn't find a place we both liked.  Then she showed us the coolest apartment I have ever seen.  We thought there was NO WAY it would  be in our price range. But to our surprise the corporate managers came in two hours before us and lowered the price from 1400 to 999 a month.  And then they threw in June rent is free along with $300 off July.  We signed right away.  The place is called Palomino Park Resort.  And yes it is like a resort.  They place is sectioned off into villages and each village has a pool with a hot tub, kiddy pool, club house and managers.  It has indoor basketball courts, racquetball, driving range, and a huge gym.  Outside it has 4 volleyball nets, full size soccer field, play ground, and tennis courts.  Anyway, my point is that it's really awesome.  We are really excited to move into our new place. P.S.  We spent five days in Denver and leaving James for that long was the hardest thing I've ever done.  I missed him soooo much.  I got to talk to him on Skype a few times.  My mom would tell me that every once in a while he would say, "where mommy, where daddy?"  It made me sad but I'm glad that he still remembered us.  It will probably be a while before I leave him for that long again.
